A Peer-Reviewed Journal for Hospital and Organized Health Care Systems Pharmacists Editorial Manager is an online submission and review system for Hospital Pharmacy journal. HP is a peer-reviewed journal devoted to the dissemination of high-quality information on all areas of interest to pharmacists practicing in the inpatient and outpatient setting within hospitals, long-term care facilities, home care, and other health-system settings. HP welcomes your manuscript. All manuscripts, whether submitted or solicited, will undergo peer review. Manuscript Categories Summaries of guidelines for the most frequently submitted article types are listed below. These include any formal research studies (e.g., randomized, controlled trials), outcomes research, economic analyses, intervention studies, or case-control series. The objective and hypothesis should be clearly stated.
Consists of a critical review of a specific topic, including meta-analyses. Information on the type of study or analysis, population studied, intervention(s) utilized, and all outcomes should be included for all literature cited. Describe the selection process used for all data included in the review.
These are succinct reports on research in progress or results of pilot studies. They may contain no more than two tables or figures (total) and no more than 10 references.
These reports of late-breaking news important to pharmacy practitioners should be no more than 1500 words in length (6 double-spaced typed pages). Limit tables and figures to no more than two total.
Letters to the Editor are encouraged to clarify published information or correct publishing oversights. Letters should be no more than 500 words in length with five or fewer references. Tutorials
